ABOUT ME

We did not plan to homeschool. However, because we did attachment parenting, we started meeting lots of homeschoolers. We even joined a homeschool preschool group and we did some amazing classes in SoCal. Our child went to kindergarten and while the school was top-rated and he did well, it wasn't the amazing learning environment we were hoping for.

So, right before first grade, we asked our son if he wanted to go back to school or to homeschool. He chose to homeschool and we didn't look back, We started with a homeschool charter for funds. And created the second homeschool learning center in SoCal. After a couple of years, we weren't using all our funds, so, we left the charter school and filed a PSA. Our son graduated in 2020.

I am a retired software engineer, served on the board of the Homeschool Association of CA (HSC) for five years, and I enjoy helping homeschoolers navigate all their choices!
